Warrant Article Text:

PROGRAM To see if the Town will vote to appropriate a sum of

money for the Harry Barber Community Service Program for the

Council on Aging, to determine how the money will be raised and

expended; or take any action related thereto.

Requested By:

the Council on Aging

Report Excerpt:

This program affords the opportunity for senior citizens to provide

service in various Town departments in exchange for payment,

which they can use to help with taxes and rent.

Vote Language:

That the sum of $7,500 be and hereby is appropriated for the

purpose of conducting the Harry Barber Community Service

Program; said sum to be raised by the general tax and expended

under the direction of the Town Manager.
