ENDORSEMENT OF PARKING BENEFIT DISTRICT

EXPENDITURES

To see if the Town will vote to endorse the Parking Benefit District

operating and capital expenditures for Fiscal Year 2026 prepared

by the Town Manager and the Select Board consistent with the

Town Bylaws; or take any action related thereto.

Report Excerpt:

Any deficit will be made up from the fund balance, which is

estimated to be approximately $417,982 at the end of FY2027.

(Recommended 14-1-0)

[The Select Board] voted to recommend favorable action on this

article after hearing from the Deputy Town Managers Bongiorno

and Wayman. It is noted that this is the first step in an annual

process whereby these expenditures are then submitted for

endorsement to the Finance Committee, Capital Planning

Committee and ultimately, Town Meeting. Proposed revenues

and future expenditures, including ongoing operational costs as

well as one-time projects and investments were outlined for the

Board. The Board approves these proposed expenditures and

recommends Town Meeting endorsement.

That the Town does hereby endorse the following expenditures

from the Parking Benefits District Fund for Fiscal Year 2027:

Projected Fiscal Year 2027 Meter Revenue $514,988

Parking Meter Operations $416,604

Offset to Parking Budget $ 62,735

Offset to Parking Enforcement Budget $127,576

Center and Plaza Improvements $355,500

Projected Fiscal Year 2027 Total Expenditures $772,104
